Working principle ▍
ZD-A18The in-hole excitation wave velocity tester is a method of using the detector placed in the drilling hole to receive the arrival time of the S wave and P wave signals from the shock source to determine the wave velocity of the strata where the drilling is located.
In the drillingTake the well fluid asThe coupling agent uses an excitation source perpendicular to the well wall to act on a momentary impact force, which produces two types of mass point vibration in the well wall strata. One is that the direction of mass point vibration is perpendicular to the well wall and propagates along the direction of the well wall, which is called S wave (shear wave, transverse wave);The other is that the direction of vibration of the mass point is the same as the direction of propagation, which is called P wave (compression wave, longitudinal wave).
